Progressive or Libertine ‘Christianity’ versus Fundamental ‘Christianity’

Why do we have these two groups of ‘Christians’? Why do they exist, what brought them into being and what perpetuates their existence? When did this ‘division’ take place? Actually it’s not a division at all because the Devil is not divided. These two groups are just two different manifestations of the Protestant branch of the deluded Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion. They are two sides of the same coin, a coin which serves the Devil well. Thousands upon thousands of Protestant ‘Christians’ fall foul of this deception or so called division and position themselves in one camp or the other.

The question is, is either of these two groups of The Truth – Yashua Messiah (The Lord Jesus Christ) and do either of them understand the Holy Scriptures? No, not at all, and to sum it up in the simplest term or phrase, Progressive Christianity is a foolish, infantile, emotional knee jerk reaction or response to equally erroneous, futile, Bible bashing, hell fire and damnation, Fundamentalist ‘Christianity’. Neither of which, as it happens, and I hasten to add, is Christianity. Both groups are religious in make up and as flawed as each other.

This is a very sad situation indeed as the only thing that separates them is the level of their wretchedness. These two groups or warring factions are like the two extremes of the phony worldly political dialectic: weak, appeasing, wishy-washy left wing liberal socialism on one hand and pompous, warmongering extremist right wing conservatism on the other.

However, the real issue here is this: do either of these two wretched groups in any way, shape or form represent, teach or preach Yashua Messiah’s (The Lord Jesus Christ’s) True Message of Salvation, Grace and future Eternal Life in the Kingdom of God for all of mankind – in other words The Good News? No way! And the worst thing about all this man made garbage is the shame and disgrace both groups bring on Yashua Messiah’s (The Lord Jesus Christ’s) name to a secular unbelieving world.

I will now deal with each of these wretched groups individually and reveal them for what they are – wholly false, evil, vain and meaningless. If you are new to The Faith, whatever you do, do not make the mistake of associating yourself with either of these two groups.

Progressive or Libertine ‘Christianity’

OK, so what do these progressive types teach? Nothing, well nothing of any value is the answer to that. Fundamentally, (ouch!! they won’t like that) they ‘teach’ a message of salvation without repentance. Their marketing ploy is simply this:

“Come on guys and gals, it’s great, you come on down and join us in our quagmire and quicksand of sinfulness. You can carry on living just as you were, doing all the things you have always done, including any old sexual perversions, adulteries and fornication. All you have to do is say you have found or accepted the wimp nancy boy ‘Jesus’, (Please see my series of articles on: Was Jesus Christ a Long Haired Effeminate Looking Wimp?) recite our little creed or prayers of acceptance and once you have done that, you can join our libertine club. Admission free and admission or confession of sins (repentance) not required. Belief and faith in Yashua Messiah (The Lord Jesus Christ) is by the by as even unrepentant atheists are welcomed into our little satanic covens”.

For those who believe in other gods and faiths:

“Come on in, that’s no problem either, as there is more than one path to God – didn’t you know? So any old religion will do! It’s really great being a member of our club ‘cos all are welcome, no matter what, and you don’t have to worry about those ‘nasty’ old Holy Scriptures at all, they just don’t apply to us. We’re much too PC righteous, luvvy duvvy, liberal, civilised, nice, kind and tolerant for them – we could teach this God a thing or two. Who can live up to all that Law based fundamental unattainable perfectionism anyway, what did God think we were – a load of saints or something!!??”

1 Cor 6:9 (KJV) Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the Kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind.

Gal 5:21 (KJV) Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the Kingdom of God.

Rev 22:15 For (KJV) without (outside God’s Kingdom) are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie. (Brackets mine)

“Whosoever loveth and maketh lie” Well the lies pour from the lips of these wretched progressive libertine illegitimates like water over Niagra Falls! In a nutshell, these progressives hang their hats on the altar of ‘religious tolerance’ which means anything goes. Not only that, but some of them even have the gall to deny that they are liberals. Well if they’re not liberals then I must be the Prime Minister of Great Britain and I suggest they visit the opticians ASAP and then have a good look in the mirror!

Fundamentalist Christians or Fundies as they are otherwise ‘affectionately’ known.

OK, what’s their problem I hear you ask? Pretty well everything is the answer to that. Oh come on, you must be joking their evangelical zeal is world renowned and they even have a lobby (The Christian Zionists) that influences the US Presidency, don’t they? Yes, but that doesn’t make ’em True Believers or Christians. The Spanish Inquisitors had zeal, power and influence and how many True Believers died at their hands!!?? Zeal has the value of an empty baked bean can if based upon the wrong foundation and that’s the problem with Christian Fundamentalism. It attracts error filled bigots founded upon flawed hell fire and brimstone Bible teaching and anyone who is not drawn into this erroneous bigotry is often driven into the arms of the limp wristed, lame duck dissolute libertines. This is a win, win situation for the Devil – he can’t lose and he’s laughing all the way to the Bottomless Pit!!

So what, exactly, do they teach? The biggest foundational flaw in their teaching is the idea that mankind has choices or freewill when it comes to the decision of being saved. They think it is mankind’s decision alone when all the while Holy Scripture teaches the exact opposite of this blasphemous nonsense. By default, they also teach that this life is the only time span of life in which mankind will have the opportunity to be saved – another lie. So already you can see that all their zeal is misplaced and their preaching and teaching just so much hot air. All is vanity and meaningless whilst it is based upon their total error.

I have dealt with this calamitous foundational error before in previous articles but it doesn’t hurt to go over it again:

John 6:44 (KJV) No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

This is the fundamental which fundamentalists do not understand and/or have an innate ability to turn a blind eye to. “No man”, now what is it in these two opening words that they do not understand? There is not a single man, woman or child here on earth that can come to Yashua Messiah (The Lord Jesus Christ) unless The Father God draws him or her first – it cannot happen folks. This means that man’s ‘decision to become a Christian’ is not in the equation – it isn’t there!! The Father calls and we answer “Here am I” as did The Prophet Samuel – period. Yet these fundie types keep on telling people that if they don’t turn from their evil ways now, in this life, they are going straight to hell when they die where they will burn for all eternity – it’s totally up to them. Now here’s an interesting point, if you question them: Which hell? You will more than likely receive a blank stare in return.

If you’re a bit switched on (Spiritually aware) and know your Scriptures you could also ask them this: “if I’m going straight to hell when I die why aren’t all those people in Revelation 20 just thrown into hell straight away too?”:

Rev 20:11 (KJV) And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and The Books were opened: and another Book was opened, which is The Book of Life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in The Books, according to their works.

Here is a massive event that takes place at least a thousand years after Yashua Messiah (The Lord Jesus Christ) has returned to this earth and heaven and earth have fled away and a new heaven and new earth are on their way. If these people died in their sins why weren’t they just thrown straight into hell? If they had been as according to Fundies why would The Father God now have them standing before His Throne for evaluation. Is God a tyrant, a megalomaniac, unjust, a bully or a sadist? Of course not, unless you’re a fundie that is.

OK, we’ve seen the chasm that separates these two pathetic groups of people. In part two I will answer my earlier questions and go into their errors in more detail. Stay with it folks, but whatever you do, do yourself a favour and don’t join either of them!
