Then we have Yashua Messiah saying this:
Matthew 5:18 (KJV) For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from The Law, till all be fulfilled.
Matthew 5:18 (Amplified Version) For truly I tell you, until the sky and earth pass away and perish, not one smallest letter nor one little hook [identifying certain Hebrew letters] will pass from The Law until all things [it foreshadows] are accomplished.
So what are these two very different verses of Holy Scripture teaching us and how does heaven and earth pass away? Like this:
Rev 20:11 (KJV) And I saw a Great White Throne, and Him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. (Emphasis mine)
When does this incredible event occur? Answer: at the end of The Millennium when the seven thousand year era or age of man is complete. So what does this tell us? It tells us that there will come a time when The Law will be done away with forever – kaput – fini – gone for good and yet Yashua Messiah’s words will not, so what does this mean?
Now what will all these wretched demonic anti-Paul Judaising Law Keepers do then? I have no idea, but one thing I know for sure is, it won’t be a pretty sight watching them weeping, wailing and gnashing their teeth when they discover they have wasted their lives on a satanic deception and the blasphemous doctrines of the Judaising Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion.
More importantly what does this event tell those of us who are already saved by Yashua Messiah’s Glorious Grace? It tells us about the temporary nature of The Law, a concept that was always temporary. It was never going to be eternal. What then is eternal? The Lord’s Words and the Spiritual dimension are eternal and here are The Nine Fruits of The Holy Spirit:
Gal 5:22-23 (KJV) But the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, Longsuffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, 23 Meekness, Temperance: against such there is no Law.
Now is Paul saying anything different here from what Yashua Messiah said? I ask this because there are so many out there who say that Paul is saying something different. OK, so let us prove them wrong by just looking at LOVE as a Fruit of The Spirit:

In The Four Gospel Accounts the word ‘love’ is mentioned fifty one times within forty three verses and the word ‘loveth’ eleven times in nine verses and I won’t copy them all here except for one or three so as to make my point that Yashua Messiah valued Spiritual Love more than anything else:
Here are Yashua Messiah’s words that will NEVER pass away.
Matt 22:37-39 (KJV) Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt LOVE the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt LOVE thy neighbour as thyself. (Emphasis mine)
If we love God will we not voluntarily and willingly do those things that please Him? If so, what need is there for The Law? Are we still little children in need of a school master with a bat, and if we love our neighbour have we not fulfilled The Law?
Romans 13:8 (KJV) Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
Has Paul not confirmed what Yashua Messiah said i.e. that a New Covenant of two commandments based upon Love, has replaced an Old Covenant founded upon fear based obedience to The Law? Do these Judaising dogs not know that Love is the opposite of fear?
John 14:21 (KJV) He that hath my commandments, and keepeth (holds, guards and protects) them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. (Brackets mine)
Notice, that he that is IN POSSESSION of Yashua Messiah’s Love Commandments and guards and holds them (keeps them close) is the one that loves Yashua Messiah. How are we in possession of “The Love Commandments”? Quite simply through having The Love Commandments written on our hearts – internalised. How does that happen? Again, quite simply, by the indwelling of The Holy Spirit immediately after our Baptism. The Law is now a Spiritual Law based upon Love and not on fear based Law of obedience to the physical letter of The Old Covenant Law – The Whole Law.
John 15:9 (KJV) As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.
Continue in Yashua Messiah’s Love, not continue in fear based obedience to The Law, because if we Love God we will follow willingly and voluntarily and here Yashua Messiah confirms this Truth:
John 15:12 (KJV) This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.
And here above is The New Covenant Commandment, that we LOVE God and one another as Yashua Messiah has LOVED us. This is the commandment we should be keeping and no others. These are Yashua Messiah’s words that will NOT pass away – ever!!
However, what does Yashua Messiah say to The Pharisee Law Keepers?
John 5:42 (KJV) But I know you, that ye have not the love of God in you.
They have NOT the love of God in them. Why do they not have the love of God in them? Easy, because they have The Law and fear based obedience to The Law alone in them i.e. NO LOVE in them at all.
So to sum up, thus far, we have established that Love as a Fruit of The Spirit is eternal as are Yashua Messiah’s love words and all the other Fruits. The Law is not, for it will pass when heaven and earth passes, but what about in the meantime. What of those that are under Grace and Truth and those who are not under Grace and Truth, and where does The Law fit into this scenario? Moreover, the questions that now lead on from this are these:
1 What is The Law for?
Answer: To reveal our sinful natures and bring us to Yashua Messiah. The Law is the straight line that shows up our crooked lines. The Law is the straight line that shows us our need for Yashua Messiah’s redemptive sacrifice and in knowing that we cannot keep to the straight line of The Law. The Law is the school master with a bat that stands over us as naughty children, but are we to remain naughty children or come to repentance at our Baptisms and mature?
2 Have The Law and The Prophets already been fulfilled, and was The Law nailed to the cross?
Answer: Yes, for those who are called and chosen of The Father to His Son, but not for the lost and unsaved.
3 Who is still under The Law, now that Yashua Messiah’s Grace and Truth has come in?
Answer: Those who are not yet called of The Father to The Son – the lost and the unsaved. These people have no idea about Grace and they are strangers to The Truth. They can only refuse salvation because they cannot comprehend salvation. This means they must remain under The Law.
Then there are those blasphemous wicked and evil people (Judaisers) who are awaiting outer darkness, because they have rejected Yashua Messiah and His redemptive sacrifice by invoking The Law upon themselves when they could be saved by His Glorious Grace and His Faith – free undeserved gifts that they throw back in Yashua Messiah’s face and thereby trample over His Sacrifice every day of their wretched lives.
4 Why will The Law pass away with the passing of the heaven and the earth?
Answer: Because there will no longer be a need for The Law. At that time Satan and evil will be gone for good, having been thrown into the Lake of Fire. Mankind will therefore not be led astray nor be tempted to do evil. When the new heaven and new earth arrives a new era begins and Yashua Messiah will draw mankind to Himself. The Father will no longer draw people to His Son, for The Father will make His home with mankind. He will also put everything under Yashua Messiah’s feet.
To sum up, we now know that Yashua Messiah’s words are not The Law, because The Law, like heaven and earth, will pass away, but Yashua Messiah’s words of Love will never pass away nor the fruits of His Spirit, for they are eternal and indestructible.
