Easter – Is It a Christian Festival?

Introduction

Easter is the main Christian event of the year, isn’t it? Or is it, in reality, like Christmas (see link No. 1 below), just another annual satanic heathen celebration, with the cracks of lies and deceit papered all over it by the creatures of the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion, that is, Papists, Orthodoxies and Protestants alike, who, in turn make it into a Christian Festival?

Furthermore, what have bunny rabbits, eggs (chocolate or otherwise) and hot cross buns, got to do with Yashua Messiah’s (Jesus Christ’s) sacrificial death and resurrection?

What do these silly symbols do and what do they represent? other than to insult, trivialise and actually continue the mockery that Yashua Messiah endured at the hands of those who mocked and abused Him, before and after, whilst hanging on the stake (cross)?

So, is Easter Scriptural? Let’s check it out and see. Fortunately, the dreadful word ‘Easter’ is found only once in the King James’ Version:

Acts 12:3-4 (MCV) And because he saw it pleased the Serpent Seed Canaanite Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of Unleavened Bread.) And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers [16 soldiers] to keep him; intending after Easter [Passover] to bring him forth to the people.

Here we have all the evidence we need to know that Easter is an irrelevant religious word/addition to The Set Apart Scriptures. A quick look-up in Strong’s Concordance will tell us plainly that the word here was originally ‘Passover’:

Acts 12:4 (Greek Transliteral Version) whom, arresting also, he placed in jail, giving him over to four quaternions of soldiers to guard him, intending after the Passover to lead him up to the people.

Easter – G3957 – πάσχα – páscha, – pas’-khah; of Chaldee origin (compare H6453); the Passover (the meal, the day, the festival or the special sacrifices connected with it): Easter, Passover.

We also have evidence to support this in Acts 12:1-3:

Acts 12:1-3 (MCV) Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of The Assemblies of Yah (the called out ones – The Ecclesia). 2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword. 3 And because he saw it pleased the Serpent Seed Canaanite Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of Unleavened Bread.)

Then were the days of Unleavened Bread – the seven day Israelite Set Apart Festival which followed The Passover, which the Serpent Seed Canaanite Jews had usurped and hijacked and made their own = they stole it.

We also need to remember that Yashua Messiah was The Passover Lamb slain from the foundation of the world, and He was sacrificed at Passover – the last Passover. Take note, that all other uses of the word ‘Passover’ in the KJV are written as ‘Passover’, not Easter, and twenty eight times in all, and heathen, pagan Easter is not mentioned again.

Revelation 13:8 (MCV) And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him (The Adversary), whose names are not written in The Book of Life of THE LAMB SLAIN FROM THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD.

Make no mistake, Easter is a Babylonian, pagan, heathen festival based, purely and simply, on fertility rites and reproduction – the fertility of the spring season through the warming sun and the beginning of a new agricultural year. A time when, and where, man places all his hopes and faith in a plentiful growing season, and an increase in his live stock. This is why rabbits and eggs feature in such a big way. The May Pole, around which children dance, although not a part of Easter, represents an erect penis – a phallic symbol. The sum total meaning of all this heathen symbolism is the worship of the creation (Satan’s world), rather than worship of the Creator (Yah). None of it has anything to do with Yashua Messiah and His death and resurrection – not one jot of it.

As stated, Easter has its origins in the heathen religions of Mesopotamia. The Babylonians, Assyrians, Phoenicians and Egyptians all worshipped pagan fertility deities: Ishtar (from whence we get Eastar or Easter), Astarte and Eostre.

Easter Eggs and their origin can also be traced back to Ancient Babylon. From there we get the mythical story of the goddess Astarte (Easter) who, allegedly, came down from heaven and deposited a large egg in the river Euphrates, from which she magically appeared.

So why has this pagan, heathen, mythical nonsense been allowed into the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion? Easy, wherever the original purveyors of the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion went, that is, people like Augustine to Britain (circa 600 AC, and that is not Augustine of Hippo, another religious blasphemer) and Patrick the slave trader to Ireland, preaching their satanic religion and Papist non-gospel = slavation not Salvation.

All they did was just absorb other religious festivals and customs of the local people, adding them into their own. By doing this, they gained thousands of ‘converts’ and, at the same time, remained popular by condoning the continuation of these meaningless, pagan, heathen, creation worshipping customs and traditions.

We must always remember that the Devil is not divided; he may display himself in a myriad of ways, so as to deceive, but he only has one plan and one aim, and that is, the destruction of Yashua Messiah’s Assemblies – The Ecclesia of Yah – The Elect, and ultimately all of Adamic mankind, especially the people of Shem (The Israelite Anglo-Saxons, Celts and Nordics).

Now here is another thing, why does Easter always move around and land on different dates each year, when the Passover lands on the same Hebrew calendar date each and every year, that is, the 14th of Abib or Nisan in the Hebrew Calendar? Easy, one is a counterfeit and the other is the original. However, the thing is, are we, as followers of Yashua Messiah, supposed to keep either of these festivals? which are really just ritualistic Old Covenant traditions? (See link Nos. 2 and 3 below)

To compound this, if they are regulated, which in many cases they are, they become a law unto themselves. This is one of the very things Yashua Messiah came to do away with, the curse The LAW for believers, who have instead put their trust and Faith in Yashua Messiah for their salvation. The obeying of The Law and its rituals undermine the Spirit of The Law; our Freedom and His Truth under Grace. This is what Yashua Messiah’s sacrifice and His resurrection achieved for us who believe. Paul says in 1 Corinthians 11:

1 Corinthians 11:25 (MCV) After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying: “This cup is The New Covenant sealed in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.”

Under His Grace we are now free to break the bread and drink the wine whenever we wish, any day of the week, as long as we eat and drink it worthily – with honour and respect for Him. If it is your desire to celebrate one special day a year on the real anniversaries of His death and resurrection, then go ahead but, you had better make sure it’s not Easter ‘cos that isn’t the right day, nor is it the right date.

Now this is another Truth, Easter has caused us to lose sight of the original event, that is, Passover, which was a shadow of Yashua Messiah’s redeeming sacrifice. The blood of the sacrificial lambs was smeared or daubed on the posts and lintels of the Israelite’s houses (not the Canaanite Jews). This happened whilst they were slaves in Egypt, and the angel of death passed over them. They were redeemed or saved by the lamb’s blood whilst the Egyptians first born were all slaughtered.

Easter, however, has no connection with this event at all – none whatsoever!! Am I therefore saying, go and join in with the fake Christian Judaisers and Canaanite Jews to keep Passover? No, a thousand times no!! The Grace of Yashua Messiah has saved and redeemed you from all that. All we need to do is remember He lives with us through His Set Apart Exclusive Spirit, all day and every day, 24/7, if we are born of Yah (born again). We remember, too, what He did for us in His death and resurrection every day of our lives, not just one day a year.

Here is yet another Truth; when and wherever the Romans conquered other peoples and civilisations in the expansion of their polytheistic believing heathen Empire, they always incorporated the conquered people’s religions, religious deities and customs into their own belief systems. The only exception to this policy was if, and when, they came across True Believers and followers of The Way – Yashua Messiah. In this case their policy turned quickly to ruthless persecution, often to death, for these brave and faithful followers of Yashua Messiah. Furthermore, when the unholy Roman Cult Empire replaced the former militaristic Roman Empire, the policy of absorption of heathen religions continued unabated – nothing changed – it was business as usual.

This why both Ancient Rome and modern religious Rome have a Pontiff Maximus at the head of their demonic system, again, nothing changed when Ancient Rome morphed into Religious Rome.

Once you have studied my other articles, you will then realise that Sunday is not ‘The Lord’s Day’. It never has been ‘The Lord’s Day’; it is sheer Babylonian/Roman religious hocus-pocus and humbug. Sunday is what its name suggests, the day for worshipping the sun and Saturday is for worshipping Satan, that is, Saturnalia. If you are born of Yah (born again) then everyday is a Sabbath Day, because you should have entered into Yashua Messiah’s eternal Sabbath Rest (see link Nos. 2 and 3 below).

Finally, if you are planning going to ‘church’ this Easter, why not do yourself a Spiritual favour and give it a miss? You never know, for if The Father is calling you to His son Yashua Messiah it could be the first day of your life as a ‘free of religion’, born of Yah (born again), son or daughter of God living under His Glorious Grace – HalleluYah!
