Matthew 22:14 (KJV) For MANY Are CALLED, but FEW Are CHOSEN.
John 6:44 (MCV) NO MAN can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw (drag) him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
John 6:65-66 (MCV) And He said, Therefore said I unto you, That NO MAN can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father. 66 From THAT many of His learners went back, and walked no more with Him.
1 Samuel 3:4 (KJV) That the Lord called Samuel: and he answered, Here am I.
Jeremiah 1:5 (KJV) Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
John 4:23 (KJV) But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship The Father in Spirit and in Truth: for The Father seeketh such to worship him.
John 6:37 All that The Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
John 6:70 (KJV) Jesus answered them, Have not I CHOSEN you twelve, and one of you is a devil?
John 15:16 (MCV) Ye have not CHOSEN me, but I have CHOSEN you, and placed you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of The Father in my name, He may give it you.
Above are the most important Holy Scriptures that deal with and explain the Christian calling, and if you are paying attention, you will notice that NONE of them mention the ‘acceptance’ of a ‘Jesus’ as your saviour – a blasphemous satanic idea conjured up by fake Christians of the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion with their fake Jesus.
Now this article has come about due to an argumentative so and so, on Youtube comments, who claimed that Yashua Messiah does the calling and choosing as well as the Father, and he cited John 6:70 as his reason for this belief. He argued that Judas was also called and chosen even though Yashua Messiah made it plain that Judas was a devil and a son of perdition. One wonders what’s going on in their addled brains.
However, was he correct in making these claims? and why is it that these lying creatures love to create contradictions. All this when Yashua Messiah also made it very plain, that NO MAN can come to Him unless The Father draws or, better, DRAGS them to Him? John 6:44 is the gold standard precedent for this whole Christian calling topic. Any other Scriptures that are subject related to it MUST be treated as complimentary Scriptures, not manipulated into contradictory Scriptures. A favourite pastime of these ignorant evil people.
OK, so what have we got? In John 6:44 we have The Father doing the calling and choosing, and then we get Yashua Messiah ‘choosing’ The Twelve Learners, including Judas. However, the last part of John 6:44 says this: “And I will raise him up at the last day.” So will Judas be raised up at the last day? Not a chance, so this ‘choosing’ of Yashua Messiah’s must be a different kind of choosing from The Father’s calling and choosing in John 6:44. And would you believe it, when we look at the Greek Manuscripts what do you think we will find? Answer: TWO WORDS with slightly different meanings.
For the word ‘chosen’ in Matthew 22:14 we get ‘eklektos’ (G1588) and for the word ‘chosen’ in John 6:70 we get ‘eklegomai’ (G1586) and here are Strong’s definitions:
Chosen – G1588 – ἐκλεκτός eklektós, ek-lek-tos’; from G1586; select; by implication, favorite:—chosen, elect.
Chosen – G1586 – κλέγομαι eklégomai, ek-leg’-om-ahee; middle voice from G1537 and G3004 (in its primary sense); to select:—make choice, choose (out), chosen.
You will notice that the second definition lacks the word ‘elect’, which means that we’re dealing with two kinds of choosing here. It also means that when Yashua Messiah ‘chose’ his Twelve Learners, the Father had already called them previously by visiting them through His Holy Spirit. How do we know this? Easy, just read these Holy Scriptures:
John 6:45 (KJV) It is written in The Prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of The Father, cometh unto me.
A slightly better rendering from The Concordant Literal Translation:
John 6:45 (CLV) It is written in The Prophets: And they shall all be taught of God. Everyone, then, who hears from The Father and is learning The Truth, is coming to Me.
Matthew 4:18-19 (MCV) And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishermen. 19 And He saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Matthew 8:21-23 (MCV) And another of His learners said unto Him, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. 22 But Jesus said unto him, Follow me; and let the dead bury their dead. 23 And when He was entered into a ship, His learners followed Him.
Notice, first, in John 6:45 how The Father teaches us and makes us receptive to hearing The Truth, and so it would have been for the twelve learners before they even met Yashua Messiah.
Notice, second, how these young men followed without a word, without any objections and without a single question or protest or argument. It was an instantaneous “YES SIR!” even from the one who felt the need to bury his father first. They all dropped what they were doing and willingly followed Him.
Now if we refer back to John 6:44 we find that The Father’s call involves drawing (dragging) people to Yashua Messiah, which must mean that when The Father initially called Peter, Andrew and the others there must have been some resistance, perhaps even strong resistance, active and operational in their minds. Peter, especially, whom we know was wilfully strong minded, and yet when Yashua Messiah turns up at the lake side and says stop your fishing and come follow me, both brothers do so without a murmer – not a single word of objection. This tells us that it was not the first divine intervention in their lives. They must have had some communication from The Father prior to Yashua Messiah turning up. This means Yashua Messiah’s arrival at the lake side and His subsequent instruction for them to follow Him was a mere formality – inwardly they had been expecting Him.
Moreover, if we return to the subject of the two Greek words ‘eklektos’ and eklegomai’ we can now see why they are used, for they have two slightly different meanings. One is the overarching ‘chosen’ as in the calling and choosing of all the Elect, who will be raised up at the last day, and the other, a more personalised ‘choosing’ of the Twelve Learners (who had already been called by The Father) by Yashua Messiah, including one who was a devil. With regards to Judas we must take on board that he was never called and chosen, he received a calling only, by The Father, for he will not be raised up at the last day.
As a penultimate point I will draw your attention to John 15:16:
John 15:16 (MCV) Ye have not CHOSEN me, but I have CHOSEN you, and placed you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of The Father in my name, He may give it you.
The word ‘chosen’ used here, is again, ‘eklegomai’ and not ‘eklektos’. This confirms what I have already said about these as being second personal callings from Yashua Messiah in addition to The Father’s earlier call. However, the crucial part to all of this is that NONE of the twelve ACCEPTED Yashua Messiah as their saviour – ALL were CALLED and CHOSEN with the exception of Judas who was called only.
Finally I will post some Holy Scriptures from Paul’s letters where he emphasises our being CHOSEN and our CALLING in numerous places:
Romans 9:11 (MCV) (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election (having been chosen) might stand, not of works, but of Him (The Father) that CALLETH;
1 Corinthians 1:26-28 (MCV) For ye see your CALLING, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are CALLED: 27 But God hath CHOSEN the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath CHOSEN the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God CHOSEN, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought (zero) things that are:
Ephesians 1:18 (MCV) The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of His CALLING, and what the riches of The Glory of His inheritance in the saints,
Ephesians 4:1 (MCV) I therefore, the captive of The Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the CALLING wherewith ye are CALLED,
Ephesians 4:4 (MCV) There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are CALLED in one hope of your CALLING;
2 Timothy 1:9 (MCV) Who hath saved us, AND CALLED US with an HOLY CALLING, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and Grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
In Yashua Messiah’s name
Brother Charles
“why is it that these lying creatures love to create contradictions.???”
Great question! Bingo. Jackpot.
It’s because it’s the only way they can defend their erroneous positions. As my nan used to say to me when I was a nipper: If you tell one lie, if questioned on it, you will have to tell ten more lies to hide or defend the first.
How are you keeping with all the mask zombies around you?
Indeed. We live in MacBeth!
Re: masks, where I live there are precious few; it’s a small town and not anywhere near the centres of BS – full of hippies and loons!
BTW Had an interesting chat with a fellow I used to work for the other day, he directed me to his site I thought you might find useful?
https://ecsfr.com.au
I also stumbled upon this video:
https://www.brighteon.com/55374249-d6c2-439b-8b66-13ff1eac9dfc
A former band mate contacted me some months ago because he had re-discovered the Bible, so we’ve had a few chats. He said he was reading JW stuff and I haven’t sought to get in a blow out with him, but in due course I might ask him if he’d be willing to baptise me? We will see. I’m meeting a few more somewhat awake folks here and there now. Met a fellow former US Army fellow badly damaged by MKUltra – directed him to you as he believes in Jesus Christ but was in a Catholic cult. I figured he needed your level of skill! Not sure of he ever contacted you though?
You’re blessed, when the Mrs and I go into any of the big supermarkets we’re the only ones not wearing a mask. It’s weird to say the least. However, I have a new plan. Up until now I have not confronted any of them, but in future when they react to my non-wearing by swerving out of my way in exaggerated movements I will ask if they have a problem and then confront them with some hoax facts.
Have a look at this – I know this guy: https://brandnewtube.com/watch/private-criminal-prosecution-of-mps-mark-devlin-talks-to-mob-on-the-good-vibra_etEDXK7lOHLVrmS.html
The link looks good – I’ll watch the vid later, although I have a feeling I have watched it before.
No I’ve not had contact with anyone. JWs are OK, apart from their created Jesus nonsense – a real stumbling block. Tread lightly with him and see if you can win him over.
Thanks Charles, I’ll check it out.
Regarding my JW friend (oddly I’m reminded of SDA types, not bad in some respects but can’t get past the Trinity for starters, or like Presbos with Grace but no baptism), as far as him performing a baptism is concerned I am simply looking for his belief that Jesus Christ is real and the Lord and saviour of mankind to be an acceptable vehicle to be used by The Father?
Mate, as far as those mask wearing fools go, I would suggest to let them be and don’t get involved; don’t stir up trouble for yourself. If they ask, or start something, reply thoughtfully and also, most importantly with empathy or listening because you might just be that sanity they are looking for but for the rest I’ve come to the conclusion that they are totally blind – even to the most basic of things. For example the BS around the next elections in the USA & Canada; it seems so obvious to me the censorship now, so if they cannot see it leave ’em be. Look after yourself – jumping in the water with a drowning man is the LAST thing you ever do.
On a different note, I’ve had a thought lately (and this is a bit of a request), …”hmm, when is Charles going to do a piece on what this world “Hell” is doing in the Bible???”
BTW the link you sent didn’t work so here is the one that I searched up:
https://brandnewtube.com/watch/absolute-proof-the-covid-19-scam-was-planned-long-in-advance-mark-devlin-part-1_tPWZ1fyqAmukVgh.html
Let there be fellowship among you… Blessings to you Charles. I wish we could meet and have a nice stiff Earl Grey tea! What would you have?
I don’t think a JW would be a good candidate for your Baptism unless you could win him over to The Truth. If he’s not a believer in the real Jesus Christ how could he do it and it be Spiritually real? To me it would be an empty event with no substance – what do you think?
LOL as for the mask wearers it would always be a kind but firm approach as I have done already. I usually start by saying: “You do realise that this whole thing is a hoax” and then wait for their reaction. Sometimes they reply, other times I get a blank stare. Then I walk away.
Yes the ‘HELL’ topic is long overdue, but the dark evenings and bad weather are with us now, so we’ll be stuck in doors for many hours. I’ll get stuck into it as soon as I can.
BTW that link was to my channel on Brand New Tube which I have now deleted, as Brand New Tube turned out to be Brand Jew Tube, run by Muzzie libtards based in Manchester. They’re a bunch of controlled opposition PC cretins. What a shower they turned out to be.
Here’s another link. If you like download and share.
Oh yes, mine would be an organic decaff coffee with goats milk. (I have intolerances to tea, to caffeine and cow’s milk).
Blessings to you Edward.
Indeed, I don’t drink liquid milk (cow) at all as I don’t have the lactase enzyme required to split the milk sugar lactose. Technically I am lactose intolerant. Cheese however, I can handle just fine. The making of cheese produces bacteria which eat the sugar. Interesting to note that goat’s milk has a quite different and simple makeup to cow’s milk (off the top of my head I can’t remember why genetics or size of proteins perhaps). Here in Australia there is a fellow doing a brisk trade in Camel milk! Anyway..
Thanks for that tip on the JW people. I found it odd you suggested they weren’t so bad but for their created Jesus thing (I have no idea what that is). I did however tell my mate that they were a satanic Jew cult because he sent me some crap about Mary being a Jewess. I agree, it would be spiritually empty indeed.
Brand Jew Tube heh? Well, here is an interesting channel. I haven’t figured them out yet. Their logo and name seem a bit Masonic, but Mike Adams (Health Ranger) was involved in getting it going. They don’t seem to be too concerned with this fellows vids so far?
https://www.brighteon.com/channels/kriticalthinkr315
As for your link, I think the kettle boiled and you left off…
Cheers.
I think you will find that the main problem with cows milk is the homogenising process that it now goes through, so that the cream no longer separates from the milk. This process produces an enzyme that our bodies cannot digest – hence all the dairy intolerances in people today.
Re JWs and the Jews, the same goes for most British Israel groups who think the Jews are Judah and a tribe of Israel. However, the main problem with JWs is their created Jesus, that is, to them He’s not God come in the flesh – a major, major error.
Re Brand New Tube, I doubt that the Brighteon fella is a Christian. That’s the stumbling block for our Muzzie ‘friend’. I posted part 1 and 2 of “Did Eve Have Sex with The Devil, Or Did She Just Eat Some Fruit” and he refused to publish them. He’s a first grade, heathen, anti-Christ arsehole.
I’ll checkout the link.
TTFN
Hi Charles, not really related to the article but I thought you might get ? from this?
Not a fan of this fella. His squeaky piercing voice puts me off. He should use a computer voice.
So, you’ve heard of him then. I thought you might have agreed some of his assertions?
At any rate, have you ever given much thought to the prophecies of Zephania; are they of the ends days or the coming destruction of Jerusalem?
Yes I probably do agree with some of his assertions, it’s just his delivery I can’t stand. He gives me ear ache LOL
Re Zepahnia they’re both – a Duality, just like Matthew 24 and many places in Isaiah. Some say London is the New Jerusalem and there are prophecies in Zephania about Jerusalem, both new and old.
OK. Well, I must admit that split time prophecy stuff puts me halfway to the Twilight Zone; i.e. it becomes quite speculative potentially.
At any rate, I’ve run into it with this ‘Remnant of Judah’ lot that emerge in Jeremiah and this is partly due to a fellow who suggested the remnant of Judah prophecies of Zephania indeed were modern Israel, which got me scratching my head again on this because I did a post on Jeremiah which seems to suggest ‘Jews’ are Israel and let’s just say that has me confused. So, any insights into what is going with Jeremiah 44, Jews, Judah and the remnant of Judah?
Thanks.
Well we know that Yashua Messiah uses historical events like The Flood in order to make a direct comparison to the end times just ahead of us. That sets a precedent, so history must be repeatedly used in other events as comparisons as well. That is, as it was in Jerusalem in 70 AC, so it will be in many Israelite cities throughout the Israelite nations. It is also a time when the Jews are going to cop it big time, just as they did in 70 AC, so it’s not as speculative as you might think.
However, I believe The UK is pivotal in terms of being a type of the end times House of Judah with the US being a type of The House of Israel, whilst still maintaining their Israelite tribe identities = Ephraim, Simeon, Levi, Judah, in the UK and Manasseh in the States.
The ‘Jews’ mentioned in Jeremiah 44 are Judahites, not Canaanite Jews. Look at verse three and four:
Jeremiah 44:3-4 (KJV) Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, ye, nor your fathers. 4 Howbeit I sent unto you all my servants The Prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
Yashua Messiah never sent His Prophets to the Canaanite Jews, only to wayward Judahites and Israelites.
Let me know what you think.
I have no problem with any of this; clear and clean as it should be. So, does that mean we have fingered the doctoring of scripture in Jeremiah 44? I have been investigating this Johanan fellow, and have come to the conclusion that he must be Judah, he is taking the Kings’ daughters (Judah) but the rest are a mixed bag that reflects Jerusalem and thus must include Canaanite Jews in this ‘Remnant of Judah’.
As for the end times prophecies I understand what you are saying. I’m not inclined to speculate personally because there is so much of that going on and my current occupation is trying to find someone which will baptise me because my hearts’ misgivings are what I am listening to.
There could have been Jews amongst those Judahites, but I was under the impression that the Jews went into captivity with the three tribes of Israelites into Babylon. Perhaps there were some that didn’t.
I often wonder what influence the Jews had over the backsliding behaviour of the House of Judah. Much like Jews in Israel today (Britain and The USA).
With regard to the end times, there is so little that we do know for sure, that a certain amount of speculation is inevitable, and as long as it’s not way of the mark I see no danger in it. I tend to pay it no attention anyway and live each day as it comes, KNOWING that the end is getting closer with each of those passing days. I am here to witness, not prophesy. If I had the gift of prophecy I would do so.
Re your Baptism you’re obviously experiencing a severe trial, so it’s just a matter of sticking with it and proving your faith. The door will open if you keep on knocking and that’s a certainty.
Yes, this question of the influence on behaviour is an interesting one I have been giving much thought to of late.
I have also come to the conclusion that in a way todays Jews do indeed have a claim to the land of Israel as it was Canaan before Joshua – no wonder they don’t want anyone to know who they are and they want us completely blotto on sex drugs and rock ‘n roll so we have no idea who we are while they destroy the schools!
FYO If you remember that Treehouse site it was recently kicked off WP for being in violation of their content policies. Though that may seem a bit funny I thought I should let you know; who knows they might come for you next?
A valid point about the Jews and Canaan and yet another reason why they hate God.
I was not aware of a site by the name of Treehouse, (have they set up shop elsewhere?) and yes I am expecting censorship of my site very soon – it will come as no surprise – especially with that Commie, paedophile whoreson, scum bag Biden now in the White House.
As far as I am concerned, The First and Second Amendments are now toast, and it’s just a matter of when, not if, they burn them on their satanic Cultural Jew Marxist funeral pyre.
The END is TRULY NIGH and it looks like real street evangelism will be the only way forward, unless some techy genius comes up with an alternative web.
Interesting thing about this Baptism trial, if that is what it is, and that makes sense to me, is that I feel as if I am becoming more lost like I could fall down face first in the muck of a swamp in the middle of nowhere, even as certain knowledge or understanding of some things increases. Yet I feel to some degree I need a certain amount of knowledge because everybody I encounter is busy spewing whatever their seemingly pat routine is, and of course plugging perhaps their own agenda or their own error. It seems very hard to meet people humble enough to admit there is some serious humbling to do! My mate is the only one who seems to be stumbling along like me, not affiliated with official groups and we seem to be experiencing other mutual phenomena such as losing total interest in music which once used to be a large part of our lives.
I do think it is trial, as I can see no logical reason for a door not to open for you, UNLESS The Father’s hand is in it, and for whatever His reason(s). It’s a sort of trial for me, too, as I do not understand it either.
The other dimension to it is the satanic dimension, and he HATES IT when new converts get baptised, ‘cos he knows for sure he’s lost you, and you ain’t never coming back. Is this something you have thought about – have you given him a good rebuking in Yashua Messiah’s name?
It’s not so much about knowledge as desire and commitment and I am sure you have that. The knowledge is an on going thing, both before and after baptism, along with Spiritual maturity.
As for humility, you can safely leave that in The Father’s hands – He will do ALL the fine tuning with regards to humility. LOL
Well, that’s good new because LORD knows I need some serious tuning!
I did a basic rebuke of Satan some time ago, but I think you might be on to something there. I do concur that could be an issue. I may have to go in the woods where I can yell!
With the knowledge thing though I guess what I have been feeling lately is the ability of the head to get lost – my heart keeps yanking me back but along the way is a muddle sometimes where I end up getting to a point and having to stop and take a break to get heart centred again. Especially these days too I think I feel inspired by Joshua; pick up sword and start swinging!
Thanks for the words of advice coach!
Always here to serve, whilst I have breath and an internet connection.
I’ve been thinking you should do Facebook Live. I know, before you fall off your chair laughing… just do entry level stuff and use it to introduce yourself to people who can then contact you more directly elsewhere. I know. LOL!
You got the name wrong – Faecesbook! LOL
Do you have an account? I have always given it a wide berth.
No account. I tried it some years ago but found it utterly inane. Women seem to like it more than men and I think it is really for university students and those which want to defer adulthood as long as they can.
However, the rough idea I thought might work for you? Some such platform and start with the simple stuff just straight easy truths. I’ve noticed churches are all doing this so why not? If people want to contact you elsewhere for more then you sort that as you like. Just a thought from a fan who is grateful for not only your hard work and guidance but also the support for my own convictions and gut feelings on such important questions AND also the odd good slap upside the head!
I’ve been exporting some of your articles as PDFs to save.
Yes, I am always mulling stuff over in the back of my mind as to what to do next and I do try new sites like Brand New Tube which I soon upset. The Jew stuff is always the problem with most of these libtard platforms.
I am now uploading articles to Minds, which gives me an alternative to WordPress. I am sure something else will turn up.
Thanks for saving my articles to PDFs.
Well, just yesterday I had occasion to comment on Gateway Pundit re an open letter to the President which contained some parallel of these times to Esther. I pointed out various bits and bobs and of course that comment got censored. Interestingly I also lost all of my notes on my Mac computer – are they going in and trashing my files???
So, this morning I have been thinking on what you said about street evangelism.
I reckon it’s not even the Jew thing although that is a huge one, I reckon it is the whole God is real therefore the flood is real therefore… many things are real and it seems today it is as we have discussed people want to decide on God not the other way around.
I went to meet a baptist next town over and he invited me to watch their FB live (that’s where I got the idea), and when I watch what they are up to I am reminded of the return of Israel to rebuild the temple; confused and thinking that their covenant with God means something…
I had a look at Gateway Pundit and it looks like an ‘in-the-box’ waste of space, so not surprising that you were censored.
Yes, street evangelism, when all else fails, and it would have to be a well planned approach – targeting a specific audience with the right message, and being topical is crucial, so as to grab their attention.
The Jew thing would quickly get us put in the overnight slammer, and before we have achieved anything, so best avoided until disciples are added.
As we know, people cannot ‘decide on God’, it’s all about finding people that God is already working on and calling.
So what are these Baptists up to? as I couldn’t really make head nor tail of what you said.
I haven’t determined yet what these ‘Baptists’ are up to. I only met the fellow once and watched portions of one of their FB live slots which seemed to be dominated by housekeeping affairs in the community, people leaving the community, caring in the age of Covid, singing songs to their king Jesus …
Mate, I think a basic working grasp of reality is a major problem; God is not real but a conceptual thing with these people. The main problem I see with the Jews is using that word straight off and not cutting to the chase on the history of our people
Yes the British Israel approach is an excellent way forward, I should have suggested it – my bad, as they say.
Oh yes mainstreamers with their head knowledge. It reminds me of the time when my wife and I joined a Baptist church just after we had left the Worldwide C of G.
On this particular Sunday they had a church picnic and we went along. Now on these sorts of occasions in Worldwide there would be much Scriptural conversation and discussion, usually about the coming Kingdom or church growth, and one would would usually be uplifted and enriched at the end of the day.
However, on this Baptist picnic, the Word of God NEVER once came into their conversations, not once. It was almost like the Sunday service deals with all the ‘God talk’ and that’s it – once away from the building, fini – kaput – end of.
A week or three later we had made an appointment to meet with the pastor of this church to thank him and let him know we were moving to another part of the UK and to say our goodbyes, and it was then that we mentioned the lack of Spiritual food at the picnic. And his response was: Bible talk AT A PICNIC!!!!!??? It was then that I realised how shallow and skin deep their beliefs were.
Chuckle chuckle. I meet up with my mate for a burger and inevitably conversation MUST turn to spiritual matters. I imagine that has something to do with the two of us being concerned on these matters all the time?
Unlike the very strange switch on/switch off Baptists. It’s a form of compartmentalisation with them.
Well, just had dinner with my JW mate, he says he’s on track to get baptised with them soon.
In other news, I referred someone to your website and the feedback was it is very disorganised. He may have a point. Personally I have always found the menu ok alphabetical but it is quite long and when you click on the article you go back to the top and then scroll all the way down; not sure if there is a better way but currently something has gone amiss. When you go to your site the titles are all ghosted until you hover over one.
New template?
WordPress has two main methods for publishing: blogging or paging. Some of my articles are on pages, others are blogs and listed as blogs in the archive.
For some unknown reason they introduced this pesky ghosting feature – have no idea why – I did not choose it.
I do recommend on my home page that people should bookmark each page or blog page, so that they can return to it if they so wish.
Agree that it’s not ideal, but it’s free, so bound not to be perfect.
Sounds like the feedback was a cover for “I didn’t like the content.” but as always I stand to be corrected. LOL
Re your JW buddy, unfortunately, he will be baptised into their fake Jesus. Another one bites the dust.
Well perhaps, however, we are having good conversations and he sent me a video that now gives me an opportunity to point out a few items of note: it is not about us doing the saving He has already done it; He is coming here we are not making the world right; there is no way to conquer sin and death by our own recognisance and this makes a mockery of His sacrifice – the only way for the remission of sin is baptism in His name; He has already done the saving and His cross is incredibly light be baptised in His name and be gifted Holy Spirit and stop carrying such weight…
We’ll see how it goes. I’ve prayed to the Father to help him understand these things and will again. Feel free to chime in!
All the best with that. I will pray also, that he be rescued from their clutches. Once he’s gone, I suggest you cut off all contact with him – light and darkness.
Indeed it is an interesting thing isn’t it this false premise they sell.
Cults usually attract intelligent people. They need not necessarily be worldly successful, but they do tend to be well above average IQ.
I never knew of any dumbos in Worldwide.
Too much deciding for themselves what makes sense?
And massively ignoring Scripture that doesn’t fit their agenda and/or rocks their religious boats.
BTW there has been a potential glimpse of hope as I’ve sent this fellow your article on the Heathen origins of Christmas and he was impressed and intrigued.
Glad to hear it, here’s hoping you may have a new disciple.
Well Easter is approaching so I’m sure there will be more I can send his way, but he will be your disciple. I’m still unbaptised and a total hack. You’re Babe Ruth here let’s keep our senses. LOL!
Well here’s hoping that you’re soon baptised and Spirit gifted, then he will be your disciple. In the meantime send him my way if you wish. I am always happy to answer his questions.
How can I have a disciple? I don’t want a disciple. I just want to get baptised.
Yes, your first priority is Baptism, but Paul and the other messengers had lots of disciples/learners – they come with the job.
10-4.
Charles, I’ve taken the initiative of brushing up on a bit of JW doctrine. There are a few obvious and immediate problems but one in particular I’m looking to detonate is this idea of Jesus being a ‘spirit being’ before being sent into the world. I think John Chapter 1 might be a good scriptural refutation of that but if you have a better ‘silver bullet’ verse or two, please let me know. I can see it is a most simple yet enticing idea that has obviously fooled many into monotheism.
The other thought I’ve had is to give Satan a good rebuke in my mate’s presence when we have tea next. Any choice words you think might be effective beyond “Be gone Satan…” would also be welcome for ye old vampire slayer going forth.
If He was a Spirit being, before He was sent into the world, then why did He bother with Baptism and with The Father then gifting Him with the Holy Spirit – all visibly displayed by a pigeon (dove) descending upon Him?
Prior to this, Satan did not know who He was, hence the slaying of the infants by Herod when He was a young child.
Only then, after Baptism and Spirit gifting, did The Temptation occur, that is, once Satan could Spiritually identify Him.
With regards to John 1 I think you’ll find they have a load of explaining away BS for that, so be forewarned and prepared.
Charles, on this I’d have to say I am totally lost. I don’t understand.
Why does Spirit gifting occur at all if Jesus is the Son of God and part of the Godhead; if Jesus was in the Garden of Eden with Adam; if Jesus Christ created this world?
I guess I don’t understand square one about Jesus Christ either? LOL.
So The Father created the world and Satan?
We never stop learning.
He was God with God before He became flesh – The Elohim. He gave up His Spiritual life and essence in order to become flesh. How this occurred in detail remains a total mystery, for He must have left heaven leaving The Father alone in heaven with the angelic realm.
However, He was a man born by The Father via the power of the Holy Spirit in miraculously fertilising an egg within Miriam.
He was therefore born a man, yet with the pure genes and characteristics of God, along with those of His Israelite Judahite forefathers, via Miriam.
This genealogical inheritance was no different from you or I when we inherited our parents genes and characteristics – the significant difference being that God was not our direct physiological father.
Therefore He was born “Jesus God”, that is, using the word ‘God’ as a surname, for want of a better description, rather than “Jesus Joseph”, with His step-father’s name.
89 times He refers to Himself as The Son of Man, that is, The Son of Adam in order to restore a greater greatness of Adam before he fell, that is, as a future Spirit Being in the resurrection, not a physical being in a garden.
1 Corinthians 15:45 (KJV) And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening Spirit.
His Baptism and Spirit gifting were done as a living example to us who would follow after Him – to show us what we must do, IF we want to enter into Eternal Life and The Kingdom of God with Him. This, too, is just as He explained to Nicodemus.
So, why was Satan not able to recognise him until the gifting of Holy Spirit; does that impart some characteristic to the recipient in this case Christ or was it simply an eyewitness account? I wondered if it the gifting of Holy Spirit upon you had made you more ‘visible’ to Satan but that didn’t make much sense.
Because He was just a boy/man – The Son of Man like all the boys/men around Him. If Satan could have identified Him he would have told Herod where to find Him.
The Temptation took place immediately after His Baptism and Spirit gifting.
Oh yes, for me, life became fraught with all manner of trials after I was baptised and gifted with the Holy Spirit. This is how we grow in faith and confidence.
Hmm, interesting indeed. Then I stumbled on you and have been a bad rash ever since – LOL! Talk about trials! Sheesh.
LOL.
Oh yes, I was reminded for some reason this morning that when I used the word Tares this fellow had never heard that word before. I thought that was quite odd.
There is much they do not understand. All they understand is what the cult has indoctrinated them with.
When we left worldwide we went into a phase of complete withdrawal from Scriptural matters in order to sort out our minds and thinking. We had to try and go back to the beginning in order to rebuild our faith.
Attending mainstream churches did not help much either, so we stopped attending those eventually and realised that we were on our own with The Father and Yashua Messiah. This relieved much stress.
It may not be this bad for your friend as he’s fairly new to the cult and the indoctrination hopefully not too deep.
And yes, I think that has made more sense to me that people to whom things make a certain natural sense already are actually being called and it is these people I am feeling out for
There’s always handing out Scriptural tracts or fliers, with snippets of Biblical Truth and/or British Israel history. Something short, just to whet their appetite or grab their attention.
In the past I was always impacted when given one those and I often think back that it was The Father knocking on my door saying: “I am still waiting for you to reply to my call.”
I’ve had a chat of late with a new mate at work and we’ve found our way in to some general scriptural offerings, just going through yarns about day to day things and the change in society, collapse of institutions and traditions, for example Jesus with the prostitute, and I’ve found simple is good and a basic way of getting people, many of whom I reckon are shell-shocked and wary given all the ‘cults’ out there, to baby step toward other expressions they perhaps might like to make but are afraid, and the last thing they are going to have truck with is a bunch of kooks. No doubt this explains the collapse of the COE and other groups because it is all now kooks and loons and kosher Christ and all the rest of the PC vomit and no history. However, the truth is never welcome no matter in what form it comes.
Absolutely right, The Truth will only resonate with those The Father is calling.
