THE PAIN IN THE BUTT That Is The Story of CORNELIUS! – Acts 10

OK, straight away, let me make it very clear that, in and of itself, this story is FINE!!! So I will state for the record that it’s a valid Biblical account of a very interesting and informative topic. So what makes it a Pain In The Butt, I hear you ask? Members of the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion or blind and deluded mainstream Christians are what make this uplifting story a Pain in the Butt! Pretty much like they do everything else from The Holy Scriptures with their perverted, satanic, blind guide misinterpretations, and this Cornelius story is a classic example of how they satanically misuse it to annul water Baptism. More on that later.

So how do they make this story a Pain in The Butt, I also hear you ask? Well in order to discover that, let’s copy and paste the Biblical narrative here, first, so that we are fully aware of what went on:

Acts 10:1-2 (MCV) There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A sincere man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.

So here we have an Italian Roman Centurion which, would make him a Canaanite, for Italians are descended from the Babylonian Hittites, who were Canaanites. Romans were not Italians, so were not Canaanites. Notice that he feared God, so he and his household were Old Covenant believers, not New Covenant believers, so no Grace.

Now racially, to a chosen Israelite like Peter, who was NOT A JEW (Take note, Israelites are not Jews – see links below), this man would have been the lowest of the low. Again, racially, he would have been sub-species scum to Peter. We need to get this very real life scenario firmly fixed in our minds, so that we understand what’s going on here. No slimy, libtard, multicultural Cultural Jew Marxism is this society, as in our Jewified, dissolute, degenerate society today.

Don’t believe we are Jewified? Then believe it from one of their own:

“We have corrupted the blood of all the races of Europe — perhaps we have infected them today.

“Everything is Jewified.

“Our thinking is in everything living, our spirit rules the world.

“We are the masters, for everything that has power today is the child of our spirit.

“One may hate us, one may drive us away, our enemies may triumph over our physical weakness, but we are no longer to be gotten rid of.

“We have conquered peoples, conquered the races, defiled them, broken their strength, made everything rotten, lazy and corrupt with our stale culture, our spirit can no longer be exterminated.”

— Dr. Kurt Munzer, Jewish novelist, “The Way To Zion”

Moving on, we are also told that Cornelius is sincere in his belief, as are his household, which means they are all being called by The Father. We know this for they are all praying and giving alms. Next we have Cornelius seeing a vision:

Acts 10:3-4 (KJV) He saw in a vision, evidently about the ninth hour of the day, an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.

Right, here we can see further confirmation that The Father has begun to call Cornelius for he has been praying and doing good deeds. These activities are an open sign that Cornelius has been called by The Father, otherwise he would not have been doing these things, especially praying. He then sees an angel of God in a vision, so this is a man that The Father has a specific job for.

Here the angel gives Cornelius his first instructions:

Acts 10:5-6 (KJV) And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter: 6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.

Cornelius follows the angel’s instructions:

Acts 10:7-8 (KJV) And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually; 8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.

Next we jump to Peter who also sees a vision:

Acts 10:9-16 (KJV) On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth: 12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

Here in these verses we see the THRUST and CORE of the subject matter and the REAL REASON for this story = Peter’s OLD COVENANT mind set and his racial and religious aloofness re non-Israelites and how he had refused to eat and socialise with them as brothers and sisters in the Faith.

Peter is curious about the vision and wonders what it could mean whilst the messengers from Cornelius turn up at Peter’s lodgings:

Acts 10:17-18 (KJV) Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate, 18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.

Peter dwells on the vision and then Yashua Messiah speaks to him through His Spirit and tells Peter what to do – not doubting. Peter meets and greets his visitors.

Acts 10:19 (MCV) While Peter thought on the vision, Yashua Messiah, through His Holy Spirit, said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee. 20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I, Yashua Messiah, have sent them. 21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?

The visitors tell Peter about Cornelius their master and of his good standing with the Judean people:

Acts 10:22 (MCV) And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Judeans (Israelites – not Jews), was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.

Peter lodges his visitors for the night and the following day journeyed with them to Caesarea taking some brethren from Joppa with them:

Acts 10:23 (KJV) Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.

Cornelius is waiting for them:

Acts 10:24 (KJV) And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.

Cornelius meets Peter and bows to the ground to worship him and Peter immediately lifts him up and corrects him:

Acts 10:25 (KJV) And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him. 26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.

Peter shows that he has understood the vision that Yashua Messiah sent to him and explains the Old Covenant Law to Cornelius and how he (Peter) had been wrong:

Acts 10:27-29 (MCV) And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together. 28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is an Israelite to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. 29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?

Cornelius recites to Peter what he had experienced:

Acts 10:30-33 (KJV) And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God. 32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee. 33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.

Cornelius and his household and friends hear the Good News from Peter:

Acts 10:34-43 (MCV) Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that the Godhead is no respecter of persons fictions or masks: 35 But in every nation he that feareth Them, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with Them. 36 The word which The Father sent unto The Children of Israel, preaching peace by Yashua Messiah (the Lord Jesus Christ): (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the Baptism which John preached; 38 How The Father anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with Power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of The Devil; for The Father was with Him. 39 And we are witnesses of all things which He did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree: 40 Him The Father raised up the third day, and shewed Him openly; 41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of The Father, even to us, who did eat and drink with Him after He rose from the dead. 42 And He commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is He which was ordained of The Father to be the Evaluator of the Spiritually alive and the Spiritually dead. 43 To Him give all The Prophets witness, that through His name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins.

The Holy Spirit falls on the non-Israelites:

Acts 10:44-48 (MCV) While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard The Word. 45 And they of the circumcision (the Israelites present) which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the non-Israelites also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47 CAN ANY MAN FORBID WATER, THAT THESE SHOULD NOT BE BAPTISED, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be Baptised in the name of Yashua Messiah (Jesus Christ). Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

Right, there it is, the full account of Peter and his encounter with Cornelius the non-Israelite Canaanite Italian and the tough lesson that Peter had to learn. This is the reason why this account is in the Book of Acts and no other and YET!!?? What do you think the gnat straining blasphemers of the satanic Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion use this passage of Scripture to pathetically try and make a case for?

And where do they get this idea from? Here:

Acts 10:45-46 (MCV) And they of the circumcision (the Israelites present) which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the non-Israelites also was poured out The Gift of the Holy Spirit. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.

Yet what happens next:

Acts 10:47 (MCV) Can any man forbid WATER, that these should not be BAPTISED, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we? 48 AND HE COMMANDED THEM TO BE BAPTISED IN THE NAME OF YASHUA MESSIAH (JESUS CHRIST).

Now why did this event take place when the norm for regeneration was and is repentance, confession of sins, Baptism and the Gifting of the Holy Spirit and as commanded by Peter at the very beginning of his work for Yashua Messiah:

Acts 2:38 (MCV) Then Peter said unto them, REPENT, and BE BAPTIZED EVERY ONE OF YOU in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

We’re also told the same by Yashua Messiah Himself:

John 3:3-5 (MCV) Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again (born of God), he cannot see The Kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto Him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be BORN OF WATER (BAPTISM) and of The Holy Spirit, HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD!!

There it is folks, for all to see, and yet these demonic mongrel dogs of the Cainite-Judeo-Christian Religion (so-called mainstream Christians) want to change all that and make regeneration meaningless and, more importantly, POWERLESS with their no-Baptism non-conversion, and this, all based on one misunderstood verse of Holy Scripture, which took place for totally different reasons than they try and make out.

So why did the Holy Spirit fall on Cornelius and SOME of his fellows before they were Baptised? Was it for their benefit or Peter’s and his fellow Israelite brothers benefit, who were present? You see, once we lose sight of the reason for this event we can then drift off into any old make believe, fairy land ideas or cuckoo land myths and fables, which is what non-baptism conversion is – a satanic lie – a myth and a fable.

This event took place in order to convince Peter and his brothers that select non-Israelites were now acceptable to the Godhead, and I did say SELECT! Make sure you notice this:

Acts 10:44 (MCV) While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard The Word.

ALL THEM WHICH HEARD THE WORD!! So what is this telling us? The Holy Spirit only fell on those which HEARD THE WORD! This is informing us that there were some there that didn’t hear The Word and The Holy Spirit did not fall upon them.

As a final warning do not let any evil mongrel dog, blind guide, lead you astray on this most crucial part of your Spiritual journey with Yashua Messiah. Repentance, confession of sins and Baptism MUST precede the Gifting of The Holy Spirit.

  1. Hello Brother Charles, wasn’t to sure where to ask this questions but I need some help please. A lady from Hannah Ruth Ministries she is very pro-Israel, she got so much so she said I’m not a Christian if I don’t follow Israel. I found that quite hurtful, I love God. So here goes, she says Palestine is at fault and they are the main aggressor and that Israel is only defending itself. She said all Christians should be following Israel. I said how on earth can Palestine be the aggressor when only about 500 Israeli children have been killed and around 3000 Palestinian children have been killed, I told her the numbers tell us that Israel is the aggressor. She told me I was spreading false propaganda. I told her the IDF are mainly Zionist followers not followers of Jesus Christ. And most of Israel are secular and have no interest in God. I even told her there are way more Christians in Palestine than in Israel and why should Israel be hurting those Christians in Palestine . She said God loves those Israeli’s and is on their side. Can you please tell me if I’m wrong or right and what is the correct Christian outlook we should be having on the Israeli/Palestinian conflict? Please help. This lady is virtually saying my views are not Christian or Biblical and I’m very upset by this accusation.
I hope and pray all is well your way.

    • Hi Peggy,

The Jews are not Israelites and they are trespassers in Palestine. Israel is a rogue unlawful state set up the Rothschilds in 1948. They have no lawful right to be there.

The Jews are Hamitic Canaanites, not Semitic Israelites.

The British, who won Palestine after driving The Turks out in 1917, arrogantly took it upon themselves to take Palestine and give it to the Jews. So the first question you could ask her is what right did the British have to do this? What right did Britain have to dispossess the Palestinians of their rightful homeland to which they held lawful deed documentation and give it to the Jews?

      Show her these videos:

Pay the stupid uneducated woman no heed. She is the fake Christian in defending the descendants of the Christ killing Jews – Satan’s own.

I am currently afflicted with a nasty bout of Eczema at present which I am told is the body’s immune system attacking itself. Apparently dietary changes are the only way to cure it unless Yashua Messiah intervenes with a miracle.

  2. Hi Charles, here we are popping up at Cornelius! Yes, it’s pea under the shell here mate – where is he going to get to next???

Indeed, quite the pain this. I just, guided by the Spirit (I hope), began Acts this week, and today was chapter 10, which, of course by the time I had finished reminded me of your article I have all ready to print. But why? Well, first because it is one of many that will get printed but also because when I was having my 3 on 1 dust up with the Presbos, in particular one, which on the first day I waited outside the church after the service to introduce myself to the pastor came upon me and very quickly was at me with: “Are you born again? You know if you aren’t born again you can’t see the kingdom.” I sidestepped this as I disliked his full-on approach and I also suspected he didn’t have the first clue. So, I went back the following week and had a go with him. Oh the rubbish he came up with and of course one of the things he threw at me was Cornelius. So, I told him I would be back with a solid answer of him and soon it will be on.

It is indeed amazing how something so basic can be so twisted, or denied, or set up as another case of “Jesus must be mistaken!”

How are you going with the eczema? Hope it is long gone.

    • Excellent!! You have experienced first hand what I have experienced online several times, and that is the gross miss-use of this passage of Scripture. Let him have it, smack between the eyes – that’s if there is anything Spiritually awake behind his eyes to receive your sound instruction.

Thankfully, the worst of the eczema has long gone, but I still get little flare ups when my diet drifts off course = too much fruit (sugar) and carbs etc.

      • Glad to hear you’ve got that more or less sorted. I think I’m somewhat also in your neighbourhood with regards to such health business and I have to keep a lid on those carbs and sugars too.

      • Oh yes, they can wreck the liver if not kept in check. For me it was a warning after a life time of dietary abuse. The Lord is always merciful with us.

      • Thanks for your vote of confidence. I’ll keep you posted.

      • No. He said he was away and would get back in touch with me. It is a holiday here so, I’ll press him later this week if I don’t hear anything.

      • Well, well, well, I finally got this fellow on the phone today. Had a wee chat. He is not a church just has put together resources for those which believe in full-immersion baptism and resources and connections for people all over Australia. Interesting. Said to me he was a researcher, which gave me pause and made me think of Eustace. He also said that not only was there too much hang up over the baptismal formula but that often as much people come up out of the water speak with tongues before any laying on of hands. Hmmm

I’m to give him an email to keep the ball rolling and he said to give him my burning questions. Chuckle chuckle. I think I gave them all to you! Ha-ha.

      • So you mentioned your desire to be Baptised in Jesus Christ’s name alone? I wouldn’t use Yashua Messiah – keep it as simple as possible.

As for tongues before the laying on of hands – NO COMMENT.

      • No Comment? That’s most unlike you. It seems pretty clear in Acts that the Holy Spirit is not received until Paul lays his hands upon them so I found such a claim to be unfathomable, never mind the possibility that the name in which these baptism was performed might not have been Acts 2:38 but Matthew 28:19. I had to wonder if this guy were delusional or is there a devilry afoot?

Did you or your wife speak in tongues after baptism?

      • BTW no I didn’t use the name Yashua, nor did I mention the you know who

      • Why Charles, dost thou slip? Is it hard for thou to kick against the pricks? Jews of course.

      • I don’t know Charles I’m going to have to tease you a bit. You’re slipping mate. chuckle chuckle

I’m slipping I tell ya. Over it! So much nonsense. I’m going to start hitting people over the head with trinity candelabras! Yet Paul is there, and the rest. Just gets better.

As a side distraction just read The Jew of Malta (Marlowe). If you’ve never read it and would like a change of scene (ha ha) methinks you’ll enjoy.

      • No good hitting people, who love lies, with The Truth, they’ll only turn on you like wolves.

Just tell him how you want it done and keep dialog to a minimum, unless it’s harmless small talk.

      • True enough. However, I’m beginning to think this guy has already bailed. I sent him an email and it’s been no reply two weeks. I don’t think he liked the fact that I wasn’t some dope ready to slurp up his whatnot.

      • What exactly did you say in the e-mail? and what was said in your first exchange? I know he made the sweeping statement of people having their own formula, but did he say anything else?

If you send him another e-mail, ask him if there is a Scriptural reason for his non-reply and in delaying your Baptism?

If he fails to respond to that, then send him a strong warning that The Lord will hold him personally responsible for refusing you, for he will be displaying satanic Pharisaical behaviour = “stopping you from entering in”.

      • Hi Charles! Much news brother….

Firstly, I initially texted him and received an immediate response. I replied to that with a straightforward statement I was seeking an Acts 2:38 baptism in Jesus name with a laying on of hands. No response. After waiting perhaps a few days I tried a text again no response. Then I phoned. No response. I wait another 2 weeks and phoned again and he returned my call. We had a chat, he suggested he was a researcher and that people get hung up on the formula (implying it isn’t critical I suppose) and that he has often seen people come out of the water soeaking in tongues with no laying on of hands. Hmmm… He offered to answer all my burning questions. I sent him an email in which I stated I had no questions just something to the effect of it being pretty clear the necessity of the laying on of hands to complete the process. No reply as of yet. Monday this week I phoned and left a message. No reply.

Having essentially got jack of him by last weekend and decided that he was probably selling BS to self-willingly delusional types I pressed on Saturday with a search something along the lines of Father and Son Godhead. This fellow came up:

Since he is in the UK I contacted him about having any fellowship in Australia and low and behold he did. So now I am in touch with that fellow. First up I called him yesterday and yes he concured two divine beings in the godhead and is ready to go on baptism and even willing to travel.

So, now I can wake up and get organised and crack on with it! I might travel to him or he might come here.

I want to ask you, is it supposed to be a quiet thing or should I invite a small group? I feel I would like to spill my truth as it were publicly, not just before The Father and perhaps show a few people. What should I do?

      • That sounds more promising. Yes, invite as many as you like, and tell them that it’s the FIRST DAY OF YOUR LIFE and would they like to come and celebrate with you the first day of your life.

Had this failed (as it turns out it has) with the other fella, I was going to suggest that you offer the same service as him and place ads for it. I presume, like all sunny Aussies, that you have a substantial pool in your back garden.

      • Thanks for the suggestion but alas no pool. I can’t see the logic in one when the beach is so close to hand.

At any rate, talk about the devil’s snare, 24-hours after making contact with this new fellow (Neville), the ‘researcher’ (Anthony), returned my call. I didn’t speak to him just saw his call listed on my phone. I think I’ll leave him be.

In other news, you are probably aware of this however, in case you aren’t if you click on upgrades and scroll to the bottom you’ll see on the right Need More Help? If you click on that a chat box comes up and they’ve been pretty quick to help me address a few technical issues, so I thought you might inquire on the ghosting thing. Considering so many people use a phone it’s really bad mate. When I visit your site on my phone I can’t see anything of the titles even when scrolling down through them. I can’t imagine that would help your message/blog getting a look? Also, the gal gave me a link to the desktop app, which I am now using and I recommend it. You can get it here:

      • Then I would still advertise and offer your services to those who want a NON-RELIGIOUS Baptism or a full immersion Baptism with no catches and get them to come to the beach. Got to be a good way of making new contacts for potential brethren.

“I think I’ll leave him be.” Tell me more. Have these bods got web pages?

The ghosting thing I have corrected. I did contact them on that and they showed me how to re-customise my page. It should now show white text on a black background, let me know if that’s not the case for you on your phone, as it shows white on black for me at this end.

      • Ok First up, yes all good now white on black background.

With regard to advertising that’s an interesting idea. At first I thought you meant come to my baptism, but I think you mean after as a run-on service?

Regarding the first day of my life, I think I understand what you are saying/what is meant by that however, I have been focussed on divulging some of my wayward years and the call to repentance for a sinner like me. I used to feel very much like Gollum from LOTR, as in a conflicted individual or like Jeckyl and Hyde with this dark side just there – the sin that lives within, so my focus has not been on first day of my life but of the old man dying and that freedom from or not being obliged to the sin that lives within. My other priority in terms of ‘educating’ anybody that attends would be to simply clarify two divine beings and a gift of Holy Spirit.

As for the other fellow here is their website:

      • OK, thanks for the heads up.

No, I didn’t mean to educate people, but a simple day of celebration and if The Light shines to a positive effect on others then so be it.

Once Baptised you are a new creation, so that is the commencement of your new life – ETERNAL LIFE. The old man DIES with Yashua Messiah in the watery grave, so as far as The Father is concerned the old man no longer exists. The old man only ‘exists’ to you within your new dual nature. In the resurrection he will be gone forever.

      • OK

As far as educating people, I just mean offering enough history to my arriving at baptism and in the process if they get something great; clarifying what we’re all doing standing around at a baptism, which will probaly be like being on Mars for most of them; declaring the actual faith too.

As a day of celebration, I see what you mean but I think I’m still caught up at being called to repentance and can’t really see that yet; I don’t feel I should be celebrating until I’ve offered my confession to The Father.

        What happens after? Group picnic?

I’ve been think of having someone video it and even put it live on Facebook.

      • Whatever you say, keep it short, or you will bore the pants off of them. LOL, unless, of course, they’re a group of nominal Christians from your Anglican past, that you still have contact with and have a little understanding of what you are doing.

I was thinking much more along the lines of your ACTIONS in taking the trouble to get yourself Baptised, for me it’s a power packed event for people to witness. Anyone present whom The Father maybe calling will not be anything but moved by your example and the images will stay with them.

As for your confession, that is covered by, and in, your PRIVATE prayers to the Father, prior to the event. This is no one else’s business but yours and The Father’s. The crucial element to your confession is that of your admission to being a sinner and your great need of His forgiveness for ALL your sins.

Your individual sins, like everyone else’s, will be too numerous to even remember, so your humble admission to Him (that is, your acknowledgement) of your being a sinner is what He looks for and what He desires from us = Our Change in Attitude to Sin.

What happens after is all down to you. Some food and drinks back at your place might be welcome and an opportunity to answer questions if asked. Not a big knees-up if that’s what you were thinking. LOL

Yes a video is a great idea. Let me know when the date is set.

        Best regards

      • Thanks Charles, will do on the date and if I can get it organised you’ll be able to particpate from afar.

I’m not planning on a blow by blow of my sins or we’d be there all night, ha ha more just a context for them to understand how I came to be here. Yes, of course there will be a humble admission.

  3. Cornelius and his kinsmen spoke in tongues before Baptism, I believe, and I know that this was a special case, but we have to acknowledge it as a true event.

However, if The Holy Spirit comes and enters a living soul then miracles will occur. I would imagine the OT Prophets would occasionally speak in tongues as the Holy Spirit empowered them to do so. Just my opinion.

I am gifted with tongues, but my wife is not, and I had the gift before we Baptised each other in Jesus Christ’s name alone, but then our original baptisms were carried out in ignorance so we gather from that, that The Father and Yashua Messiah accepted those Baptisms as genuine = the intentions of our hearts.
